It’s 1979 in New York, and disco and clubs are all the rage. All night parties, dancing to the latest disco hits, and mingle with the famous and infamous. You will know you have arrived at the right place because the best-looking cars are parked outside, and only the VIPs are allowed inside.
You want to get the party started, but first, you have to get past the bouncers, because only the beautiful people can get in, and you have to dress the part to get past the “screening”, through the velvet ropes to follow the sounds to the party as we turn the Sunrise Theatre into Studio 117, the biggest disco party on the Treasure Coast.
You will be mingling with celebrities like Andy Warhol, Michael Jackson, Cher, Brooke Shields, Grace Jones, and David Bowie, who arrive to lose themselves in the smoke, lights, and music. There will be aerialists, and sights that will take you back to the golden age of dance clubs in the seventies. And the place to see and be seen is Studio 117 at the Sunrise Theatre in Fort Pierce.
The Sunrise Theatre will be filled with the sights and sounds of the original Studio 54, with all the glitz, glamor and celebrity of the day.
